Sequence Lab ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Sequence Lab mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).

Profile Information: You may optionally provide a profile photo, phone number, handicap, skill level, timezone, and other golf-related preferences.

Swing Videos: When you use the Swing Analyzer, videos you upload are processed on our servers to generate pose estimation data. Videos are stored temporarily for analysis and are not shared with third parties.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including features used, drill completions, practice plans, and calendar events.

Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostics and compatibility.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's functionality
• To process swing videos and generate analysis, metrics, and coaching insights
• To facilitate communication between coaches and clients
• To personalize your experience (practice plans, drill recommendations)
• To send service-related notifications
• To improve and optimize the App

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and secure hashing for passwords (bcrypt). We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data in the following circumstances:

• Coach-Client Relationship: If you are a client, your coach can view your profile, swing analyses, drill progress, and practice plans. If you are a coach, your clients and academy can view your coach profile.
• Academy: If you belong to an academy, the academy administrator may view aggregated data for coaches and clients within their organization.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the App's settings or by contacting us. Swing videos used for analysis may be retained for up to 30 days after processing.

You have the right to:

• Access and update your personal information through the App
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of non-essential communications
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will promptly delete the information.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services for authentication (e.g., Google Sign-In). These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
